Our kid's ministry is devoted to teaching children the core tenets of Christianity. We live in a time where the Gospel is constantly being attacked, and our children need to be able to understand not just the truth that is found in scripture, but why it is the only true north. Children don't just need to know what they believe, but why they believe it. This is what this ministry is all about.

On Sunday's, children (ages 2-11) will begin the service with their parents, but prior to the sermon they will be dismissed to their classroom. Once in the classroom, a qualified church member will take the children through the catechism (Shorter Baptist Catechism: For Young Children) and an interactive curriculum. The curriculum we currently use is Answers In Genesis.

This curriculum places a great emphasis on the foundation of the Christian faith and the truth found in scripture. It stresses the importance of who God is, why we follow Christ, and why we can trust the Bible. Because our children are entering a world hostile towards the Christian worldview, Answers In Genesis prepares our young ones for how to respond and thrive in that atmosphere.
